For the first time in the history athletes from 6 African countries (Algeria, Senegal, Mauritius, Tunisia, Ethiopia and Cameroon) participated successfully at the Ju-Jitsu World Championships in Vienna 2012.
The Athletes has shown the best performance with great enthusiasms in the Ju-Jitsu World Championships. Despite organizational problem the athletes fought courageously and could win matches as well as reached up to 7th rank. Unfortunately, other African Countries was not able to participate concerning the visa problem. Following the European continent Africa was the second continent represented by athletes that came from different countries.
JJAFU is proud to achieve all this with athletes that gathered their international experience and appreciate all collaborators, Federations/Associations and Supporters that enabled this historical participation.
